NO ON MIAMI BEACH REFERENDUM #1 | ELECTION DAY NOVEMBER 8TH

Miami Design Preservation League and Miami Beach United recommend to Vote No

Here's the Truth that the Billionaire Mailers and Slick TV Ads Won't Tell You:

For more than 5 years, the owners of the historic Deauville Hotel have left it in a state of severe neglect, causing blight on the surrounding area and increasing crime and homelessness.

Now, they want the City to reward them with 250,000 square feet of extra development rights over what is currently allowed by our zoning.

Miami Beach voters must vote NO on this precedent- setting attempt at a land grab.

The proposed Oceanside Overlay is a developer giveaway, enriching the derelict owners of the now demolished historic landmark, the Deauville Hotel.

Thanks to strong local advocacy over many decades, the power to increase zoning rests in the hands of Miami Beach voters.
